Our primary mission is to provide quality care to our residents. Each staff member and department are vitally important in enabling the facility to meet its mission requirements. Only through cooperation, understanding and continuing effort can the Facility maintain the necessary standards needed to accomplish our primary mission – Quality Resident Care.
Those interested in employment at Oakview Medical Care Facility may download an application or pick one up from our business office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fill it out, save it and e-mail it to KRodell@oakviewmcf.com or print it and bring it in to our office. They may be faxed, scanned and emailed or dropped off in person. All forms plus the application must be submitted to be considered for employment.
Applications are returned to the facility and interviews with the appropriate departmental supervisor are scheduled. Facility policy requires a criminal background check. Information on all applications is to be correct and to the best of the applicant’s knowledge. Once considered for a position, you must pass a routine physical examination, verifying you are physically capable of completing the employment tasks for which you will be hired. Applicants who are applying for positions in nursing must have a current Michigan license (LPNs and RNs) or a current Michigan Nursing Assistant certification. We appreciate our nursing staff and realize that on only given day, and in every situation, their dedication to our residents and their families is a shining example of kindness and compassion that comes from the heart.

We have a New Sign on Bonus starting at $1000! Presently we have openings for full-time, part-time and pool CNA’s for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting base wage of $15.47 with shift differentials. RN and LPN – Oakview Medical Care Facility is currently accepting applications for full time, part time and pool Registered Nurses on 2nd shift, starting rate of $28.50 per hour. LPN full time, part time and pool on 2nd shift, starting wage of $22.37 per hour.
RN Wound Nurse – Oakview Medical Care Facility is currently accepting applications for a full time, Registered Nurse on day shift, Main responsibility would be wound care and reporting. Must hold a current Michigan RN License. Starting rate of $28.5013 per hour.
Maintenance Worker – Oakview Medical Care Facility has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Worker. Experience in building maintenance required, electrical, plumbing, patching / painting, HVAC repair, snow removal, grounds keeping, the ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Must have or be eligible for a chauffeur’s license. Pass a DOT Physical. Attention to detail is required for this position. Must be able to work varied shifts and on call as required. Starting wage based on experience.
Housekeeper – Full-time
Food Service Worker – Full-time and Part-time Starting wage is $13.74 per hour. Ability to work well with others in a close environment, enjoy working with the elderly and perform a variety of tasks in accordance with current federal and state regulations. Flexibility is a must.
Physical Therapist, (PRN) – Licensed Physical Therapist.
CNA – Full-Time, Part-Time, and Pool positions for 2nd and 3rd shifts; must hold a current Michigan CNA Certificate. The starting base wage for CNA positions is $15.47 with $0.25 and $0.30 differential.
Pool CNA – (All Shifts) Must hold a current Michigan CNA Certificate.
